By Dominic Maher

Published: 28 July 1998 15:31 BST

Mustang Software has created a plug-in for Microsoft Outlook that turns the messaging and collaboration client into a call centre and helpdesk tool.

Called IMC Add-in for Outlook, the software integrates with Mustang's Internet Message Centre so users can manage email transactions from within Outlook.

The company will be selling the product through resellers at a cost of $7,500.
