By Tony Hallett

Published: 15 July 1998 14:52 GMT

Rockwell Electronic Commerce has launched a call centre system for small and medium-size enterprises (SME). The system - known as Transcend - is a software-based automatic call distribution (ACD) system which runs on Windows NT Server.

Rockwell said Transcend can be used by facilities with 8 to 80 agents. In addition to handling email and faxes, it integrates with existing IT and telephony infrastructure. A Web integration module will be released later in the year.
